Did you know floppy disks and the concept of passwords were introduced in the 1960s? Since then, floppy disks have long disappeared but the lifespan of "password" has been stretched by making them torturously long, complicated, and a favorite target for hackers.

At miiCloud, we believe that the best way to prove someone’s identity is the person themselves, not some long-complicated password.  We are on a mission to rid the world of usernames & passwords for authentication and solely rely on a person’s biometrics.

What kind of person are we looking for? 

We are looking for Fullstack Engineers who:

• 1st, believe in the same stuff that we do.  
• 2nd, have the following:
• • Love to solve complex & ambiguous problems
  • Paranoid about application security 
  • Curiosity to seek new knowledge and ways to apply it
  • B.S/M.S in Comp Sci or related field of study
  • Proficiency in object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithm design
  • Proficiency in multiple programming languages
  • Experience with AWS and related services
  • Experience with setting up the entire tech stack from ground up
  • Experience with designing application architecture for low latency & high throughput (and knowledge of trade-offs)
  • Experience with highly scalable and reliable full stack cloud services and applications using various frontend technologies like HTML/CSS/JavaScript and backend programming languages like Java, Scala, Go etc.  
  • Experience with computer vision, facial recognition etc is a huge plus
  • Don’t want their career defined by tracking ad clicks, counting likes or designing emojis
